Finances and investments
This month we actually put some numbers into play when my visualization of Jete Cheri marketing firm and put them down on paper how much the cost that i will accrue. The most important part of the marketing is where the the actual cost is determined, it gets expensive. Business cards marketing avenues like SEO marketing, business to business and radio/tv advertising are different marketing strategies I will put to use because advertisement is what will help get the name of the business relevant. In this business finance class we have learned key essentials to budgeting key unexpected cost and preparing for average expendentures for running a business.
Business Storytelling and Brand Development
During this month in this class it really helped me to build a foundation incorporating skills that I learned in job related and creating a creative brief for me to showcase within the school. showcasing these attributes to actual clients or sponsors that like the idea im bringing to the table. Their are alot of Image consulting agencies out of there, and me creating my brand and standing out to the competitor is the biggest standpoint that I got out of this course. I am very excited to create such a professional platform for me to tailor to my personal brand that I plan on using outside of school.
Which Leader Am I?
By: Jeté Fuller
After my readings from John C. Maxwell Developing the LEADER WITHIN YOU and The 48 LAWS OF POWER Written By: ROBERT GREENE The type of leader traits I perceive to have are Maxwell. When in comparison of two leaders Maxwell and Greene I have also notice that I incorporate some of Greene’s laws. When reading the beginning chapters in Maxwell where it speaks about what defines leadership, to me leadership is the overall influence you have over individuals you lead. Influence as in reference of Maxwell Chapter 1- ” It is not tenure it is maturity and determine what makes you a leader is measured by followers you obtain. “
How I look at this statement is when looking at social media site like: Instagram, which is based on the amount of followers and not always based on what you paid people to look at, you are considered a leader based on the quality of the images you protray through photography telling a story on your page, creates the influence to obtain followers and keep their interest.
Another Maxwell trait that I portray to have is my thoughts on people development. To me, what make a good leader isn’t only about how knowledgeable you are about leading, but through teamwork and success as a team is proof you can lead.
It helps to empower others. Maxwell states : ” Leaders are not great because of their power but their ability to empower others.” I have tried this trait in my pass managerial roles. I helped empower my assistant manager to work towards getting their own store and empowering to make their own decisions.
I also like to plan ahead ,delegate tasks as what is a priority others all traits that Maxwell possess. When referring to Greene’s Laws three of them that I incorporate are Law 9- Win Through Actions never Through Argument . Law 25 – Recreate Yourself and Law 33- Discover Each Man’s Thumbscrew.
” It is Much more powerful to get others to agree with you through your actions without saying a word.”- Greene-48 laws
Law 9 I practice this method because I believe everyone has a strength in different ways that they intake and retain information and for me Kinesthetically actions of movement are respected than selling a dream with your words which is not.
People say things they are going to do all the time but if action is not put to it, it’s only words. Referring toLaw 25- I like to Recreate myself all the time, that way people cannot get into a routine of things when referring to leadership capabilities.
Greene states ” The creation of memorable character one that compels attention and stands out from other players on the stage. Another law from Greene I can incorporate is Law 33 – When I learn others for the first time I look at their body language to learn where they are holding tension when referring to Massage Therapy.
When learning another man’s thumbscrew Greene talks about training your eye for detail. Initially I feel this is necessary when leading to become a more effective leader.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)
This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.
You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
- Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
- Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
- Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
- What topics do you think you’ll write about?
- Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
- If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
